Hallelujah [Leonard Cohen] NOTES: Tried an usual taping position -- seated, towards the back of the VERY small Rivoli venue. Sounds good, but occassionally can hear clanking at the bar, busboys stomping through the room, and a bit of chatter behind me. Set was fairly quiet, crowd clapped quite loud. A fair amount of compression was done to bring down the volume of the claps, but the music was left uncompressed. The last song, Hallelujah, was sung off stage amongst the crowd, without microphone or amplification of any sort. The tape cuts out a handful of time as I adjust the volume to compensate right before the song starts (I'm not sure why my recorder does that?).
